There's to be no reprieve for Rupeni Caucaunibuca, despite his superstar status.
A couple of days after he was dropped for Fiji's game against the NZ Maori for a breach of team instructions, star winger Caucaunibuca has been axed from the squad to face the All Blacks at Albany on Friday.
Fiji coach Wayne Pivac made the call.
The squad, minus the former Blues winger who now plays for Agen in France, arrived in Auckland on Saturday to prepare for the one-off test.
Caucaunibuca flew to Fiji last week to join the team for last Friday's match against the New Zealand Maori in Suva.
But he didn't report to the team's camp as required and Pivac dropped the player before flying to Auckland on Saturday.
Pivac was hoping to replace Caucaunibuca with another winger, Isoa Neivua.
