Former All Black Grant Fox has added his voice to the calls for Mils Muliaina to be given more opportunities to impress in the All Blacks at centre.
Muliaina made a solid start to his new role in the 13 jersey at Jade Stadium.
Fox, who is Muliaina's former provincial coach, says the new centre should be given more chances.
Fox says it is only a start, so there is a need to be careful, "... but it is clear the All Black selectors want their best seven backs on the park for the big games, and Muliaina and Leon MacDonald are both party to that."
Grant Fox says he never doubted Mils Muliaina had the skill set to make a fist of centre at test level.
