BRISBANE - The Wallabies have suffered another blow to their Tri-Nations campaign with first five-eighth Stephen Larkham set to be ruled out of their next test against the All Blacks on August 13.
Larkham will miss the match at Sydney's Telstra Stadium due to a shoulder injury.
The bad news follows on from a forgettable tour of South Africa where Australia lost both their tests, including the Tri-Nations series opener, and were embroiled in off-field controversy.
Adding to the loss of playmaker Larkham, the Wallabies will also be without injured Wendell Sailor, but welcome back fellow winger Clyde Rathbone.
The Wallabies today named a 27-man squad for the test.
Wallabies squad:
Al Baxter, Brendan Cannon, Mark Chisholm, Matt Dunning, Rocky Elsom, Scott Fava, Elton Flatley, Mark Gerrard, Matt Giteau, George Gregan (captain), Nic Henderson, Chris Latham, David Lyons, Drew Mitchell, Stephen Moore, Stirling Mortlock, Jeremy Paul, Clyde Rathbone, John Roe, Nathan Sharpe, George Smith, Lote Tuqiri, Morgan Turinui, Dan Vickerman, Phil Waugh, Chris Whitaker, Bill Young.- AAP
