The celebrated Kiwi Army rugby team of 1945-46 has lost another of its players.
Flanker Keith Arnold has died in Waikato Hospital, aged 86.
A Waikato representative player noted for his vigour in the loose, Arnold was also an All Black on the 1947 tour of Australia, on which he played eight matches including both tests. But he was judged to be too light for South African conditions and was a surprise omission from the All Blacks tour of South Africa in 1949.
