LONDON - British and Irish Lion Denis Hickie will miss all of Ireland's end of year rugby internationals because of a leg injury, his club Leinster said today.
The winger will also miss Leinster's Heineken Cup Pool games against Bath and Glasgow later this month.
Hickie suffered a dislocated right fibula in a Leinster training session on Monday.
The Irish club said he underwent surgery at a Dublin hospital on Monday evening and is now recovering at his home.
Ireland have three matches next month at Lansdowne Road against New Zealand, Australia and Romania. They play the All Blacks on November 13 NZ time.
