Today is the last chance for candidates to put their name forward for the vacant All Blacks coaching job.
Applicants have until 5pm to declare their interest in the role, made vacant by World Cup winning coach Graham Henry at the start of the month.
The NZRU sent letters to a number of coaches, both nationally and internationally, to notify them of the vacancy and their eligibility to apply for the job.
Assistant coach Steve Hansen, who declared his desire for the role some time ago, remains odds on to be appointed when an announcement is made, Radiosport reports.
The NZRU wants to have a decision made prior to Christmas.
