KEY POINTS:
Three All Blacks are demanding a release from their Blues contracts if David Nucifora is coaching the side next season.
Rugby News reports Tony Woodcock, Ali Williams and Joe Rokocoko have asked the New Zealand Rugby Union to be released to play elsewhere.
Nucifora has been reappointed as Blues coach for a further two years.
Auckland Rugby Union board chairman Ken Baguley said it was the first he had heard of a revolt against Nucifora.
"I'd find it staggering if it was the case," he said.
Mr Baguley said player feedback on Nucifora was tabled at an Auckland union meeting three weeks ago but was "reasonably positive".
He said if there was any substance to the claims then they would have come out in the players' feedback process.
"In rugby, there's a conspiracy behind every goal post but I haven't heard anything," Mr Baguley said.
Blues chief executive Andy Dalton angrily dismissed the report today, particularly in regard to Woodcock and Rokocoko who both have contracts with North Harbour and Auckland respectively to the end of 2008.
"I have spoken to Joe and Tony who were as surprised and annoyed as I was to see themselves featuring in such a story. They both clearly stated to me they are happy in the Blues squad and looking forward to next season.
"Their end of season review completed by them supports this sentiment."
Dalton said the organisation had "several positive discussions with Ali Williams" and it was now up to him the decide whether to renew his contract.
Rokocoko and Williams were out of favour with Nucifora this season, but only Williams looks to be in a position to move, as his Auckland contract expires at the end of the year.
Woodcock is contracted to North Harbour and Rokocoko is contracted to Auckland.
