All Blacks: Williams out of Italy test

All Blacks lock Ali William will miss Saturday's rugby test against Italy in Christchurch after pulling up at training today.

Williams, who is recovering from an Achilles injury, pulled up sore at training at Rugby Park today.

He will be replaced in the starting 15 by Isaac Ross, with Bryn Evans coming onto the bench.

All Blacks doctor Deb Robinson said: "It's disappointing for Ali and over the next 48 hours we will determine the next best course of action as far as his injury management is concerned."
