South Africa's two Tri Nations tests against the All Blacks next year have been confirmed for the High Veldt.
The All Blacks will play the Springboks at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on the 26th of August, followed by a test a week later at the Royal Bafokeng soccer stadium in Rustenburg on the 2nd of September.
Rapport Chief rugby writer JJ Harmse says the matches have been confirmed, but SARU is closed for a month so nothing has been officially announced in the Republic.
Rustenburg is at an even higher altitude than Johannesburg.
JJ Harmse says the decision to award an All Blacks test to Rustenburg is totally political, with the Leopards union supporting embattled South African President Brian Van Rooyen in his fight against financial mismanagement allegations.
