Adam Thomson is "gutted'' and "heart-broken'' after his World Cup jerseys were stolen.
The All Black loose forward, who was on the reserves bench for the World Cup final victory over France, came home to his Dunedin apartment to find it had been burgled and his precious mementos stolen.
"Came home to find my apartment has been meticulously burgled,'' he tweeted today. "Real scum of society who think they have a right to invade a person's home.
"I mean I don't care about the replaceable things. But what lowlife steals my world cup test jerseys? #heartbroken.''
The Highlanders player also featured in the World Cup pool matches against Japan and France.
