Sonny Bill Williams will head towards an array of firsts when he suits up for the All Blacks in Sydney on Saturday.
Williams has worn the black jersey in 17 tests but has yet to play the Wallabies in Australia.
His two tests against them were both from the bench at Eden Park last year in the Tri-Nations series and then as a substitute in the World Cup semifinal.
He lasted three minutes in that match before he was sin binned for a shoulder charge on Quade Cooper.
The 27-year-old's foray to Sydney will offer an insight into what he might expect from the media and league fans in his anticipated move next season to the Roosters. Williams played 73 games for the Bulldogs in his five-year league career before walking out and antagonizing a sizeable portion of their membership as he headed for a rugby start in Toulon.
