The latest sporting strips for both the All Blacks and Silver Ferns were unveiled in Auckland today.
Netballers Casey Williams, Maria Tutaia, Irene van Dyk and Laura Langman were joined by All Blacks Joe Rokocoko, Keven Mealamu, Tony Woodcock and Ali Williams to model each team's new playing strip.
A new all-white All Blacks jersey was unveiled to be used as a second strip when the All Blacks were playing outside New Zealand and there was a clash in jerseys.
It will be worn for the first time against France in Marseille this November during the All Blacks' end of year tour.
Controversy surrounded New Zealand's alternate grey and silver strip worn in their failed bid to win the 2007 rugby World Cup.
It was uncannily similar to Scotland's stylised outfit worn when the two teams clashed in pool play, causing confusion for players and spectators. The All Blacks also played in their alternate strip in the quarter-final 18-20 loss to France.
Members of both Silver Ferns and All Blacks teams were involved in the design and development of their new kits.
