The first of two All Black training camps in Mt Maunganui winds up today, but the 38-man squad will return next Sunday to prepare for next month's matches against France.
Both three-day camps are at the ASB Arena in Baypark to prepare players for the three test matches against France in June.
Sunday rain kept players indoors for the private training sessions, but some were seen relaxing in local cafes and walking along Mt Maunganui beach yesterday.
The squad includes eight uncapped players, and the camps have been kept to a three-day minimum to work around the busy Super rugby schedule.
The squad for the Steinlager Series will be named on June 2. The All Blacks play France in three tests: at Eden Park on June 9, AMI Stadium, Addington, Christchurch, on June 15, and Yarrow Stadium, New Plymouth, on June 22.
