All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has accepted the raft of criticism of the team's recent lineout performances and he admits they are not exactly closer to solving the problem ahead of the next test against the Wallabies on August 22.
McCaw says there are a number of problems to address.
"I think the big thing that's come about in the last couple of weeks is just the lack of confidence. Some of the jumping, the lifting, the calls and the throws haven't been quite right and you if get all those little things wrong against a strong defensive team, they'll show you up."
McCaw also has a new injury concern with a nerve problem in his neck, which means he is likely to miss the next two matches for Canterbury.
