KEY POINTS:
On the eve of the test against England, the All Blacks coaching team has described the team spirit that drives the New Zealand players.
At a media conference in Auckland, head coach Graham Henry said players needed more than just skills to be an All Black.
"I think the main thing is the players have to have character, they have to have backbone, bravery if you like, as well as the skills to play the game and the determination to get better and better," he said.
"If every individual gets better, the team gets better."
Assistant coach Wayne Smith also focused on individual drive.
"It's what burns inside you that it counts."
