Just like Scotland, Ireland have never beaten the All Blacks - and they only have the one draw (1973 at Landsdowne Road) in 107 years of Irish-All Black rugby.
The All Blacks have won 22 of the 23 tests played, and have scored 626 points at an average of 27 points and almost 4 tries a game. The last time the two sides played was in June this year, when the All Blacks won 66-28 in New Plymouth - a record high score for the All Blacks against Ireland.
The last time the All Blacks played in Ireland was in 2008 at the famous Croke Park - that day the All Blacks came out victors 22-3 in what was the second test of their Grand Slam tour that year.
This year the test match will be played at Aviva Stadium, the new stadium built on the site of the former Landsdowne Road.
The biggest milestone in this test match will be Richie McCaw and Mils Muliaina eclipsing Sean Fitzpatrick's record for All Black test appearances. This test match will be their 93rd and will place them 22nd equal with Ireland's Peter Stringer on the all time test appearances list.
At the other end of the scale Hika Elliot will be starting his second test match, while if they make it off the bench Sonny Bill Williams will play his third and Alby Mathewson his fourth.
Brad Thorn would have played his 50th test match this weekend but failed a last minute fitness test on his injured hamstring so will have to wait until the final test of the tour against Wales to reach his half century of games. Anthony Boric takes his place in the starting lineup giving Sam Whitelock a spot on the bench following his outstanding efforts against Scotland last week.
Head coach Graham Henry is also sitting on the edge of a record. If the All Blacks beat Ireland this weekend he will clock up 100 test victories as a coach - he is currently on 99 wins of which 76 are with the All Blacks, 22 with Wales and 1 with the British and Irish Lions.
Dan Carter now needs just 20 points to break Jonny Wilkinson's record of 1178 test points.
