Hosea Gear is ready to take his latest All Blacks opportunity in both hands.
The Highlanders winger is in the starting line-up for tomorrow night's third test against Ireland in Hamilton.
It's his first start since August last year.
Gear says it's been tough watching from the sidelines so he's thrilled to get another crack.
"I've just been hanging in there and waiting for an opportunity. I'm really excited and looking forward to getting out there,'' he says.
