It seems Dan Carter will play his first game back from his Achilles tendon injury this weekend for his club, provided he can pass a fitness test.
It is understood there is a real possibility he will play for Southbridge club side this Saturday against Hornby, if he gets the go-ahead from Canterbury fitness trainers and doctors tomorrow.
Carter has not played since rupturing his Achilles tendon while playing for French club Perpignan in January.
