The Wallabies have received positive news on game-breaker Kurtley Beale as they prepare to try to end a 25-year Auckland victory drought against the All Blacks.
Despite finishing Saturday's 39-20 Tri-Nations win over South Africa with ankle, shoulder and facial injuries, fullback Beale is expected to line up against New Zealand at Eden Park on Saturday week.
Wallabies medical staff are confident Beale will recover quickly to train with the side this week.
Test player Rob Simmons admitted the upcoming game could be the toughest assignment of the season for the Wallabies, who haven't won at Eden Park since 1986.
"To play over at Eden Park, Wallabies-All Blacks is a big game and I've never done it so it's a big thing for me," he said.
"It's one of the toughest games coming up that's for sure."
Wallabies prop Sekope Kepu highlighted the size of the hurdle.
"The All Blacks are almost flawless with their set pieces and the talent they have on the park, that they field every time, so we'll look to prepare as best we can," he said.
Australia have lost their past 11 tests at the stadium, including 26-12 (2007), 41-10 (2008) and 22-16 (2009) in their last three visits.
