All Blacks: All signs point to a great night

With only a handful of tickets remaining, clear skies and the odds on the side of the All Blacks, Saturday night's Bledisloe Cup match is looking to be a cracker.

Only 300 tickets remained on sale yesterday, so Eden Park will likely bulge to capacity for the New Zealand-Australia test, which kicks off at 7.35pm.

An Auckland Rugby spokesperson said temporary seating had been installed in front of the North and West stands, taking total capacity to 48,000.

Weatherwise, Saturday night is looking to be clear and calm, with a high of 14C during the day and a southerly wind dropping off in the evening with the temperature reducing to a crisp 4C overnight, according to the MetService.

At the TAB, the odds are looking good for the men in black, who are the hot favourites to win on Saturday at $1.22. The Australians are at $4.

For those who are lucky enough to have tickets for the match, travel on trains and special event buses is included.

Additional trains will run from Britomart to Kingsland before kick-off and there will be extra services on the Western line to Morningside, with a mobility shuttle operating between Morningside station and Eden Park before and after the game.

Special event bus services will operate to Eden Park from Auckland city, northern busway stations, Takapuna, Manukau, Pakuranga, Botany, Newmarket and Mt Eden.
