New Zealand rugby fans are being urged to counter the red-shirted Barmy Army lions supporters by wearing black ponchos that will be dished out for free at Tour games.
Around a quarter of a million ponchos will be distributed form a giant tent, which will also house face painters and screen pre-recorded team talks.
All Blacks coach Graham Henry said fans shouldn't underestimate the part their efforts could play in helping New Zealand teams to victory.
"Fans can help the players on the field with their colourful presence and with the noise they make. We must ensure we keep the home ground advantage. These factors can make a difference," Henry said.
The ponchos will be provided by All Blacks sponsor Telecom.
