Days after revealing the new All Blacks' alternate jersey to very mixed reviews, adidas have made a blunder in a promotional video in which they have confused Malakai Fekitoa for Julian Savea.
The video, posted without comment on Savea's instagram account, features close-ups of Savea, the wing hoping to emulate his three-try performance against France at the last World Cup when he lines up in Paris on Sunday morning.
But the action shots are of his midfield teammate Fekitoa, a player suspended for the test due to his high tackle against Ireland in Dublin last weekend.
The All Blacks will wear a vastly different jersey against the French - with the silver fern and All Blacks logo, as well as the manufacturer's label, on a slant. The effect is to make the jersey sponsor AIG appear more prominent - whether by design or accident.
