Prop Ben Alexander is the latest player to succumb to the Wallabies' injury curse, forced out of Saturday's Bledisloe Cup Test against New Zealand by a wrist injury in Brisbane.
Alexander was on Thursday replaced in the team by James Slipper, with Sekope Kepu brought into the squad on the bench in his return from a knee injury.
The withdrawal of Alexander is the second change to the team named earlier this week after hooker Saia Fainga'a was forced to withdraw with a broken hand suffered at training.
Fainga'a was replaced on the bench by his James Hanson, who joined the team as a reinforcement during the recent tour of South Africa and Argentina, replacing the injured Stephen Moore.
Should Hanson take the field, he will become the 12th new cap to have featured for the badly injury-depleted Wallabies in 11 Tests this year.
