Rugby: Tipuni joins NZ Maori

Wellington halfback Ruki Tipuna has joined the New Zealand Maori squad as a replacement for North Harbour player Chris Smylie.

Smylie fractured his cheekbone in Saturday's 37-31 win over the New Zealand Barbarians and loses his place for the match against Ireland in Rotorua on Friday.
