Breakthrough wins, in more ways than one, at the Cape Town Sevens.
Argentina’s men and Australia’s women have claimed maiden titles at the event but things went wrong when members from both teams celebrated by diving sprigs and all into a defenseless 2000 litre sideline pool.

Australia made it two from two to start the women’s season, backing up victory at Dubai last week, with a win over France in the final.
In a dramatic final, Australia went out to a 22-0 lead in the first half before France closed the gap to 22-14 with Aussie star Maddison Levi red carded for a high tackle in the build-up to the second French try. But Australia held on with six players to win 29-26 and claim a second title of the season.
