Bay of Plenty coach Kevin Schuler has left the union to take up an offer from Japanese club Yamaha.
The former All Blacks flanker informed the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union chief executive Jeremy Curragh yesterday that he would not extend his contract beyond his two years which he completed on December 1.
Schuler has acted as Yamaha's adviser for the last two years.
