One brave man took an unusual approach to getting some female company on a lonely night and messaged 52 girls asking them if they were free.
Don Flanagan, from Batley, West Yorkshire, messaged all the girls in his phone book at the same time and all in the same group.
He wrote: 'Hia girls you alright, it's Dom I just couldn't be a***** texting you all individually, what you all doing tonight?'
Needless to say, the maverick move didn't go down that well, reports Daily Mail.
The first response the Oulton rugby player received was: "I am going to ride you silly you out of shape piece of s***"
It was followed by a "f*** off Dom".
Many of the girls left the group without saying anything.
However, some seemed to like the approach.
One said: "Lmao love you but I'm out with ****. Call me later after a few wines and I might be all urZzzzz"
She then swiftly realised that she wasn't speaking to just Dom, and added "HAHAHAHA 52 people.
"F*** I didn't realise"
Many swore at him or just sent laughing faces.
"I was in the process of messaging about five plus girls asking them what they were doing on the night and just thought 'this would be easier if I did it all at once.'"
"I was p******, so added every single girl, ex girlfriends included, to the chat. None of them were keen to respond, and I was called a disgusting pig by one girl" Dom told Unilad.
After sharing the image on his Twitter, it racked up more than 1500 retweets and 6000 likes, but many of the responses sided with the girl.
"Rugby players are a rare breed of weird" one Twitter user wrote.
Another said "He's a dead man."
Dom wasn't the first to add lots of women to a Whatsapp group in a bid to get lucky.
In 2015, a man named Tom added all his exes to a group chat to four in order to wish them a drunken "Merry EX-mas".
Unsurprisingly the WhatsApp conversation was in turns awkward, hilarious and full of recriminations.
