Wayne Pivac has resigned as coach of Auckland's ITM Cup side.
Pivac will head to Wales in June to take up the role of assistant coach to Simon Easterby at the Llanelli Scarlets.
Having won three titles with Auckland between 1999 and 2003, Pivac's second stint in charge saw the team make the final in 2012 and the semi-finals last year.
Pivac's assistant coach for the last two seasons, Paul Feeney will take over as coach for the upcoming provincial season.
