A quick resolution for the family of former All Black Bernie Fraser after pleading today or information after a storage unit filled with memorabilia was sold without his or the family's knowledge.
Bernie's daughter, Brooke Fraser, took to Facebook this morning with a post outlining the situation where a person had the cherished items and contacted the family demanding money.
Brooke Fraser updated the post with good news.
"Major items have been located. Thank you to everyone who shared the post and expressed sympathy and concern. We are so thankful to the kind and good person who bought the goods from the seller and immediately contacted us."
She earlier said the unit sold was filled with personal property of "great sentimental value" such as childhood photos, videos, artworks and memorabilia of their dad's rugby years.
