Rugby: New name for New Plymouth stadium

What was Rugby Park in New Plymouth is now Yarrow Stadium.

The name change has come about after the Yarrow family contributed to the redevelopment of the stadium at the ground.

The Taranaki Rugby Football Union said the redevelopment was to cost close to $16 million and would increase the ground's covered seating from 2500 in one grandstand to nearly 9000 in two grandstands.
