Mid-Canterbury have retained the top piece of silverware in the Heartland Championship.
They beat Buller 36-13 in the Meads Cup final in Westport today for their second straight title, scoring four tries to one in the decider.
Setareki Koroitamana scored two tries for Mid Canterbury.
