Wallabies coach Michael Cheika faces a board meeting with Rugby Australia in the coming weeks that could decide any changes to his coaching staff heading into next year's Rugby World Cup.
The Wallabies pulled off one of their most memorable comebacks in history on Sunday, fighting back from 31-7 down at halftime to beat Argentina 45-34 and avoid last place in the Rugby Championship.
According to rugby.com.au, Cheika will present his case to the Rugby Australia board for the lead-up to next year's Rugby World Cup. The board have publicly backed Cheika in recent months but he could face some serious questions following a poor season to date.
The Wallabies have won just three of their nine tests this season including a home series defeat to Ireland, back-to-back loses to the All Blacks and their first ever loss on home soil to Argentina.
They currently sit seventh on the World Rugby rankings.
