Wellington hooker Motu Matu'u is calling for the home crowd to get behind the Lions when they meet Counties Manukau at Westpac Stadium in their ITM Cup semifinal tomorrow night.
The Lions have been the team to beat in the Premiership all year and won nine from 10 outings during the regular season to give them home advantage for the playoffs.
"I think the crowd underestimate how much of an impact they have on us when we're out on the field. When they're yelling, we hear it, we listen,'' Matu'u said.
Wellington coach Chris Boyd has made a handful of changes to his backline for tomorrow's knockout game from the side who were upset 35-24 by Hawkes Bay last week.
Custodian Matt Proctor and halfback Frae Wilson both return from injury, while Shaun Treeby slots back in at second five-eighth after a week-long break.
