The New Zealand Maori are off to a winning start, but have lost former All Blacks Hika Elliot and Piri Weepu for the tour.
Both are returning home. Hooker Elliot suffered a neck injury halfway through yesterday's 40-15 win over Canada in Toronto. His place willgo to Tasman hooker Quentin Macdonald.
Halfback Weepu was counted out just before the start of the game after failing to recover from a knee injury from training at the weekend. Wellington halfback Chris Smylie is his replacement.
Weepu's replacement yesterday, Jamison Gibson-Park, scored two tries after his late call into the starting XV. He got one in each half. The Maori were too skilled for the home side, scoring six tries, but Canada were competitive and surprised the Maori as they spread the ball wide and often.
The Maori play the United States in Philadelphia next weekend.
