The Warriors and Mystics joined together for a rugby league-meets-netball cross codes basketball training session at Mt Smart Stadium today.
The full Mystics squad underwent a training session in the Warriors' gym before taking on the boys in a basketball skills challenge overseen by Breakers and Tall Blacks legend Dillon Boucher.
Humour and banter were in strong supply as both teams made NBA-style entrances to music before engaging in a light-hearted game of 'Horse' where they had to match each other shot for shot.
Mystics captain Maria Tutaia led the way for the 'visitors' together with Cathrine Latu, Kayla Cullen and Serena Guthrie, while Bodene Thompson, Konrad Hurrell, Tuimoala Lolohea, Albert Vete, Sam Lisone, Solomone Kata, Raymond Faitala-Mariner and David Fusitu'a were representing the Warriors.
While natural skill and sporting ability was evident in both team's performances, neither side should be expecting the Breakers' talent scouts to come knocking any time soon.
