Warriors record first win of season at Broncos

There was a big win for the Warriors in round two of the National Rugby League season.

They upset the Broncos 24-12 in Brisbane.

Stacey Jones has starred for the visitors, reproducing some of the form that earned him the coveted golden boot a few years ago.

Jones scored a try and kicked six of seven attempts at goal, for a personal haul of 16 points.

Jerome Ropati and Ruben Wiki were the other try scorers for the Warriors, who lead 10-4 at the break.

In other results, Melbourne thumped St George Illawarra 46-12 and Canberra crushed Newcastle 39-14.
