Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland is beefing up security for the Warriors' next National Rugby League home game.
An alleged bottle throwing incident last weekend during the Parramatta game is being blamed on a shortage in security because of the increased crowd of just over 14,000.
That is almost double the number of fans at most of this season's previous NRL home games and followed a successful run by the Warriors.
Mt Smart Group Manager Malcolm Roberts said the security numbers had not changed for last weekend's game, meaning people were getting through without being checked and without bags being inspected.
Roberts said it was an isolated incident and he was confident heightened security should fix the problem.
The Warriors next play at home against the Sharks in three weeks.
