The New Zealand Warriors were training with loud music today as they prepare for their first NRL playoff game since 2011.
The Warriors face the Penrith Panthers at ANZ Stadium on Saturday and were using the unique technique to prepare for the crowd noise.
"That's something they've done before. Just a way to try and simulate what the atmosphere will be like as much as possible," Tohu Harris said at training today.
"It's obviously to the level of what our finals game would be with the crowd noise, anything we can do to help us prepare we'll give it a go," Harris added.
"I've found it works. We had a few instances today where we found we had to be a lot clearer with our communication. That's going to be how it is in the game."
