Dominique Peyroux will miss the Warriors first game of the NRL season against the Eels on March 9 after accepting a grade two dangerous contact charge from last weekend's pre-season defeat to the Titans.
The NRL has promised to clamp down on crusher tackles and Peyroux was judged to have made unnecessary head/neck pressure during a tackle in the 10th minute of their 36-18 loss to the Gold Coast at North Harbour Stadium.
The utility, who played 13 games last season and also played for the Cook Islands at the World Cup, is still free to play this weekend's Auckland Nines as well as the last pre-season match against the Broncos in Dunedin on February 23 but will have to sit out the Eels match in Sydney.
