Warriors owners Eric Watson and Owen Glenn have moved swiftly to make changes to the club with three newcomers to the board.
Two weeks after confirming they had agreed on a 50-50 equal partnership in the Warriors, Watson and Glenn said successful businessmen Bill Wavish, Tony Holt and Justin Davis-Rice had been appointed directors, joining existing board members Mark Flay and Wayne Scurrah.
The owners also announced the now-retired Wavish had been appointed the new chairman, taking over from Flay who had led the board since 2007. Wavish is also chairman of Bendon's board.
Watson and Glenn said the new board would be developing new strategic initiatives and opportunities as well as ensuring it maximised the benefits of working alongside the Australian Rugby League Commission now running the game.
The owners reiterated their goal was to see the Warriors, New Zealand's biggest single sporting franchise, become the most successful club in the NRL.
