Centre Dane Nielsen is expected to be available for the Warriors' final regular season match against the St George Illawarra Dragons at WIN Stadium in Wollongong on Saturday.
Nielsen missed Saturday's 50-16 win over Canberra after picking up ankle and shin problems in the previous two matches against Penrith and Gold Coast.
The one injury concern to emerge from the Canberra clash was a slight hamstring strain which resulted in Jerome Ropati leaving the field after 58 minutes. Elliott said he was hopeful Ropati would recover for the St George Illawarra match.
Unfortunately for the Warriors, results over the weekend have hurt their chances of making a late surge into the top eight. The Cowboys' 31-18 win over the Sharks was not what the Warriors wanted and then the Titans upset the Roosters 31-18. Both results sent the Warriors from eighth spot to 10th.
The Warriors need to beat the Dragons and hope the lowly Wests Tigers or Eels can beat the Cowboys or Knights - along with a Titans' victory over the Storm.
