NRL: McKinnon out of Warriors for opener

First-choice Warriors fullback Wade McKinnon will miss Sunday's National Rugby League (NRL) season opener against Gold Coast at Robina.

An infection has prevented McKinnon training this week he was ruled out of the match last night.

Joel Moon, originally part of a five-man bench, is now a confirmed starter on the interchange bench.

Warriors team:

Lance Hohaia, Kevin Locke, Brent Tate, Jerome Ropati, Manu Vatuvei, James Maloney, Brett Seymour, Sam Rapira, Aaron Heremaia, Russell Packer, Lewis Brown, Ben Matulino, Micheal Luck (captain).
