Another milestone looms in the NRL career of the Warriors' Mr Fix-it Lance Hohaia.
Hohaia will join Stacey Jones, Logan Swann, Awen Guttenbeil and Wairangi Koopu in making 150 NRL appearances for the club when they take on Souths on Sunday.
Hohaia said he has come a long way since making his debut against North Queensland in 2002.
"Now the years have gone by and I'm up there with some of the club greats, so it's going to be a proud moment for me when I do run out," said Hohaia, who has been named at fullback for Sunday's match.
Hohaia said his longevity is testament to his relationship with the club.
"The best way I can think to repay them is to get out there and play good football every weekend," he said.
"Obviously I still like to think I can get better and improve over the coming years. I'm a lot more confident and better allround player than when I first started playing NRL, so I';m happy where I am and happy with the way I'm playing."
Hohaia said he hopes to continue the relationship with the club for a few more years yet.
Warriors captain Simon Mannering has been named to start on Sunday after being forced out last week and Bill Tupou replaces the injured Manu Vatuvei on the wing.
