David Fusitua has signed a new deal with the Warriors, that will keep him at Mt Smart until the end of this decade.
The 21-year-old was one of the most impressive performers over the previous season, making his mark across the backline despite a disappointing season for the club.
He has been rewarded with a new extension to his current contract, which sees him signed up until the end of the 2019 season.
There are only a handful of players at the club with such long term deals, including fellow youngsters Solomone Kata and Bunty Afoa.
Fusitua scored 11 tries in 18 appearances, including doubles in home wins over Penrith and the Broncos, and a memorable four-try haul against the Knights in the 50-14 demolition in Newcastle in round 14. Fusitua also contributed three try assists and 16 line breaks.
