KEY POINTS:
Ruben Wiki is being courted by almost every UK Super League club, with many wanting to sign the 35-year-old to a two-year deal.
The former Kiwis captain has announced 2008 will be his last in the NRL, 16 years and what is likely to be more than 300 fi rst-grade games after he made his debut for Canberra as a 20-year-old centre.
But he is keen to finish his playing career in the UK Super League and his manager Jim Banaghan said he was "flabbergasted" by the interest shown in Wiki.
It had been assumed the test world record holder would team up with former Kiwis coach Brian McClennan at Leeds but Banaghan said Wiki would have his pick of clubs.
"He's probably the only 35-yearold running around in the NRL that all the top UK clubs want to talk to," said Banaghan, who is in the UK to meet with clubs.
"I will be speaking to every Super League club while I am here and every club has shown an interest in him. They obviously want him for his leadership and direction but in merchandising alone, he is worth a fortune. His shirt would outsell nearly anyone else at any club.
"Some want him to sign as soon as possible... but no decision will be made for about six weeks." The Warriors are keen to have Wiki back once he has retired from playing and hope he will take up a role as a trainer and mentor at the club.
Warriors second-rower Wairangi Koopu is also generating interest from Super League clubs, along with Melbourne front-rower Adam Blair.
