Speculation continues over the fitness of Warriors fullback Brent Webb and whether he has fully recovered from his early season back injury.
Webb did not seem to find top gear against the Roosters last week when the try line was begging, and assistant coach Ivan Cleary said it will take time before he will reach top speed.
Cleary said a back injury can set back a player for a while and Webb is gradually getting better.
However, while Webb's pace off the mark is still good, he will have to get miles under his belt before he can fully stretch out.
Webb will line up against the Raiders on Saturday at Ericsson, with skipper Steve Price certain to play after his remarkable recovery from a knee injury.
Cleary says Price's return has lifted the side but it does not mean the rest of the team can ease off and let Price do all the work.
