KEY POINTS:
The Warriors may have missed two points on Saturday but they have received an apology.
NRL referees boss Robert Finch has put in a call to coach Ivan Cleary to say sorry for another dodgy call.
Video referee Steve Nash robbed Wade McKinnon of what could have been a try of the year contender at Dairy Farmers Stadium, ruling an obstruction had occurred.
Nash will be the big loser this weekend, with Finch promising Cleary that punishment will be dished out.
Cleary said Finch told him the disallowed try should have been given and Nash will pay the price this weekend.
The Warriors coach said he appreciates the call from Finch, saying it is good to admit when mistakes are made and shows transparency.
Cleary does not blame the 18-12 loss on that call and said the team did not play well enough to win but the call on McKinnon certainly did not help and it did happen at a crucial time in the game.
The Warriors have dropped to 11th on the table with the Knights overtaking them after their 34-10 victory over the Eels on Monday night.
