KEY POINTS:
The Warriors last home game in round play against Manly next weekend looks likely to be a sellout but the club and the NRL are unlikely to take any playoff games to a bigger ground such as Eden Park.
More than 24,000 seats have been sold for the match next Sunday and only 5000 are left for the north embankment.
The NRL approves grounds for finals playoff games and Mt Smart is the only one in Auckland. The league will not shift a game to another venue without consulting the host club. And the Warriors want to keep playing where they know every blade of grass. The stadium also provides a more intimidating atmosphere for opponents than the sprawl of Eden Park.
