The Warriors paid tribute to outgoing NRL referee Matt Cecchin after their 20-4 victory over the Newcastle Knights last night.
Cecchin is walking away from the NRL at the end of the season after revealing earlier this month that he and his family suffered death threats following a controversial decision in the Rugby League World Cup semifinal between Tonga and England last November.
In a post on Twitter after the match, the Warriors thanked Cecchin and congratulated him on his career.
"Respect over everything. Congratulations on a fantastic career Matt," the post read.
Cecchin has been welcomed by the English Super League, but hasn't made an official announcement over his future.
