KEY POINTS:
SYDNEY - Former Kiwis league centre David Vaealiki has been ruled out of the Manly side to face the New Zealand Warriors due to a knee injury.
Vaealiki was this week named at centre by coach Des Hasler for Monday night's National Rugby League (NRL) match at Sydney's Brookvale Oval before being officially ruled out today.
"It's a bit of swelling in the knee that's affecting my mobility, we'll hopefully get it sorted before next Saturday (the match against South Sydney)," said Vaealiki, who returned to the NRL this year after a stint in England.
Hasler confirmed Vaealiki would miss the Warriors match, and now faces a reshuffle of his squad before Monday.
He is already without another Kiwis test centre Steve Matai who will miss at least another two weeks with shoulder and neck injuries.
